Description

This nine-day journey through Taiwan combines vibrant city life, natural wonders, cultural immersion, and scenic relaxation.

The trip begins in Taipei, where you can settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead. Journey down the west coast toward Taichung, with visits to Japanese colonial relics and a hands-on Hakka tea-pounding lesson in Miaoli. The evening culminates at Taichung’s lively Fengjia Night Market, known for its street food and bustling atmosphere.

From Taichung, the route leads into the mountains to the iconic Sun Moon Lake. Enjoy serene lake views, cultural sites, and a stop at the Antique Assam Tea Farm. The following day, the itinerary continues to Alishan, famous for its misty forests and highland tea. You can hike among towering cypress trees and learn about Taiwan’s tea traditions.

An early start on Day 5 offers the chance to ride the Alishan Forest Railway and witness the breathtaking “sea of clouds” at sunrise. The group then travels south to Kaohsiung, visiting Taiwan’s largest Buddhist monastery and exploring Love River by boat.

Venture further south to Pingtung for an eco-friendly cocoa farm visit before driving through banana-growing regions to Taitung, where relaxation awaits at the Chihpen hot springs. The scenic East Rift Valley unfolds, a route filled with rice fields and mountain views en route to Hualien.

The penultimate day highlights Yilan, where you can tour a tea plantation, try traditional tea-making, and savor their own brews before returning to Taipei.

This itinerary offers a perfect balance of Taiwan’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and modern energy, leaving travelers with unforgettable memories.
