Rising early, you’ll witness one of the most iconic moments in the Red Centre—a mesmerizing Uluru Sunrise. As the first rays of sunlight kiss the ancient monolith, it transforms from a silhouette into a vibrant, ochre-red hue, creating a profound and spiritual experience. This natural wonder is not only a sight to behold but also a reminder of the enduring significance of Uluru to the Indigenous Anangu people.
To explore this unique landscape further, hop on a Segway and embark on an exhilarating Uluru Segway tour. Glide effortlessly along the base of Uluru, learning about its geology, history, and cultural significance from your knowledgeable guide. This modern twist on adventure offers a fresh perspective of the rock while preserving its natural integrity.
Delving deeper into Indigenous culture, you’ll participate in a Dot Painting workshop, a hands-on experience that allows you to connect with the ancient art forms of the Anangu people. Under the guidance of a local artist, you’ll create your own masterpiece using traditional dot-painting techniques, gaining a deeper appreciation for the artistry and symbolism embedded in each dot.
Your adventure doesn’t stop at Uluru; you’ll also chance to explore Kata Tjuta, a stunning cluster of domed rock formations that hold their own spiritual significance. Witness the changing colors of these red giants during a guided tour and absorb the tranquility of the desert landscape.
For a grand finale to your Red Centre exploration, a helicopter takes you across the Central Australian outback, and over the Northern Territory’s largest salt lake, Lake Amadeus. You will be given the opportunity to see wild camels and brumbies as you fly towards the sandstone sculptures of Kings Canyon. The tour lands at Kings Canyon Resort where it will take you for the creek bed walk before returning to Ayers Rock Resort.

Day 1: Arrive Ayers Rock (D)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay. This evening, join dinner under the outback sky with the once-in-a-lifetime Field of Light installation. With magnificent views of Uluru at sunset, a three-course bush tucker menu, premium selection of Australian wines and beers, fascinating star talk and a self-guided walk through the Field of Light art installation, your ‘A Night at Field of Light’ experience is complete.

Day 2: Uluru & Kata Tjuta (B)
This morning, enjoy a magical sunrise at Uluru with a picnic breakfast, tea, and coffee. In the morning light be led by your guide into the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Be shown by your friendly guide how to ride a Segway and test your skills with our Segway training course. Once the group is confident riding a Segway, then travel to the full base of Uluru with your guide. You'll stop to learn about ancient Aboriginal culture, fascinating history and incredible nature and geology. There is time to relax at the resort before traveling to Kata Tjuta. Walk between the mighty conglomerate domes and hear how these 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuta have evolved over millions of years. Listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the rock walls that surround you. The spirituality of this amazing location embraces everyone who ventures here.

Day 3: Kings Canyon (B)
This morning, fly direct to Kings Canyon taking in the Northern Territory's largest salt lake, Lake Amadeus, and search for native wildlife amongst the incredible natural landscape. On request we can also land at Kings Creek Station for refreshments and if you're feeling up to it, enjoy the creek bed walk at Kings Canyon before returning home at an additional cost. Join a fun art experience in a unique workshop provided by the local Anangu. Learn about traditional Aboriginal dot painting through the ancient symbols of the desert and create your own work of art to take home as a memento.

After breakfast, there is free time before transferring to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight arrangements.
