    Upon arrival in Porto, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After you have checked in at the hotel, relax a bit before you take the afternoon to independently explore Porto’s lively riverfront and tiled alleys.

    Day 2 - Porto (B, L)

    A sun-soaked day in the Douro Valley unfolds among rolling vineyards and terraced hills, with visits to two distinctive wineries for guided tastings and stories of the region.     Day 3 - Porto (B)

    Day 4 – Porto and Lisbon (B)

    Check out of your hotel and meet your private car and driver who will transfer you to the train station for your three-hour journey to Lisbon. Upon arrival in Lisbon, a private car and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and enjoy some time to relax.

    Day 5 – Lisbon (B)

    Explore the heart of Lisbon on a small-group guided walking tour through its storied past and vibrant lifestyle.     Day 8 – Funchal, Madeira (B)

    Join our Land Rover expedition to explore Madeira’s astonishing southeast coast, from the famous wicker town to remote places like Morena. Continuing on, enjoy a light, easy self-guided levada walk. The day ends in historic Machico, the island’s first landing place where Portuguese explorers first touched Madeiran shores.

    Day 9 – Funchal (B)
