Your journey begins in Amman, Jordan’s vibrant capital, where ancient history and modern life coexist across rolling hills. After arrival and hotel transfer, the remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the city’s highlights, from Roman ruins to lively streets filled with cafés and local culture.
Travel south through Jordan’s diverse landscapes, stopping at the UNESCO-listed Umm ar-Rasas to admire its remarkable Byzantine mosaics. Continue along the Desert Highway to Wadi Rum, where a thrilling two-hour jeep tour reveals vast red sands, towering rock formations, and cinematic desert scenery. After lunch, journey onward to Petra, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay.
Enjoy a full exploration of Petra, the legendary Nabatean capital carved into rose-colored sandstone. Walking through the Siq to the iconic Treasury, you’ll discover temples, tombs, theatres, and colonnaded streets that showcase remarkable ancient engineering and artistry.
Visit Little Petra and the Crusader-era Shobak Castle before continuing south to Aqaba on the Red Sea for an overnight stay. Day five marks a cross-border transition into Saudi Arabia, traveling from Aqaba to Tabuk, a historic gateway city, for a brief visit and overnight stay.
