Travel to Kaiteriteri to meet your guide before boarding the 9:20 am Vista Cruise to journey along the stunning coastline to Torrent Bay. Upon arrival at Torrent Bay Lodge, receive a comprehensive safety briefing and kayaking training before setting out to explore the scenic waters between Torrent Bay and Pinnacle Island.
Paddle through beautiful beaches, tidal estuaries, and hidden coves, stopping at a sheltered beach for lunch, where you can swim, sunbathe, or relax on the golden sands. On the return journey, if conditions allow, hoist the kayak sails and glide back to Torrent Bay. Stop at Pinnacle Island to visit the seal colony and spot blue penguins and seabirds resting on rocky outcrops.
After your kayaking adventure, farewell your guide and set off on a self-guided 2-hour bush walk around the scenic Torrent Bay Lagoon, passing Cleopatra’s Pool before reaching Anchorage. Re-board the Vista Cruise at 5:20 pm, arriving back at Kaiteriteri by 6:00 pm. Return to Nelson.
