Description
Cape Town and Kruger is the classic South Africa itinerary. The journey starts with four nights in Cape Town where you’ll take a morning tour of the ‘Mother City’, situated between the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean and flat topped Table Mountain; undisputedly South Africa’s most beautiful and vibrant city renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse culture, rich history, and iconic landmarks.
The highlight of the morning tour is riding the cable car which ascends Table Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean. Its rotating cabins provide panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape. Operating since 1929, it transports visitors to the mountain's summit in minutes.
Next, spend a full day exploring the scenic Cape Peninsula. This diverse day comprises a scenic coastal drive along Chapman’s Peak Road, an optional visit to Boulders Beach penguin colony, and magnificent views from the lighthouse at the Cape where the convergence between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans may be seen.
A free day allows you to explore independently or add an experience to the Winelands, which boasts picturesque vineyards, historic towns, and award-winning wines. Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are key areas known for their scenic beauty and exceptional wine estates. Visitors can indulge in wine tastings, gourmet dining, and cultural experiences amid breathtaking scenery.
After Cape Town, it’s time for your unforgettable wildlife adventure in Greater Kruger National Park which covers over 7,500 square miles and offers unparalleled game-viewing experiences. To see iconic species like lion, elephant, and rhino, visitors can embark on game drives or guided walks through the Park’s diverse habitats of vast savannahs, woodlands, and meandering rivers.
You will spend three nights at Buffalo Camp in Kapama Private Game Reserve and enjoy six thrilling safari drives in search of the Big Five, and other amazing African wildlife. Between game drives, you will have time to relax by your pool, visit the Spa or participate in activities offered by the lodge.
