  Day 1 - Victoria Falls (B)

  On arrival at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe you will be transferred to your luxury accommodation for the following two nights, Palm River Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the township or relax at your riverside resort.

    The hotel's location could not be more idyllic, situated along the banks of the iconic Zambezi River, among towering indigenous trees and only 2 miles from Victoria Falls – so close, in fact, that on a clear, quiet day guests can hear the thunder and see the spray of the mighty waterfall from their rooms.

    Palm River has been inspired by the architectural style of the Queenslander, distinct in its savvy use of timber and corrugated iron and its consideration of climatic conditions.     Guests dine on fusion fare within the Palm River Hotel restaurant dining hall; encompassed by tall ceilings, classic parquet flooring and large sliding doors that open out onto an idyllic riverfront vista. The dining experience flows onto to a large patio and out to an al fresco dining space, sheltered by a canopy of indigenous trees. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests, while the cuisine reflects the natural setting, using fresh, local ingredients.

  Day 2 - Victoria Falls (B)

  Join a guided walking tour of beautiful Victoria Falls this morning, during which the history and significance of the Falls will be explained.  Explore further or relax until the late afternoon, when you depart on a sunset cocktail cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Take your camera with you on both tours, and don’t be surprised to see some resident hippo and some visiting elephant on your river cruise.

  Day 3 - Chobe National Park (B,L,D)

  You will be transferred to Chobe National Park and your accommodation for the following 2 nights, Chobe Safari Lodge. Your first game activity will be this afternoon. The Park’s resident elephant population is estimated to exceed 50,000. Watching these gentle giants wash in the river is a memory to hold forever.

    Chobe Game Lodge (Deluxe)

    The only permanent game lodge situated on the banks of the Chobe River within the famous Chobe National Park, Chobe Game Lodge can accommodate up to ninety-four people in total luxury. Each of the forty-four rooms at the lodge is river-facing and air-conditioned, featuring overhead fans, complimentary mini bar, ensuite bathrooms and a private terrace. The Lodge has four river-view suites, each with its own plunge pool and separate lounge area.

    Chobe Game Lodge is designed as a haven of peace and privacy – where relaxation is effortless and you can enjoy your own space. With six comfortably furnished viewing decks, a riverside boma, two bars, six different lounges and four dining locations, a comfy chair or lounger is never far away, each with a different perspective on the wilderness that surrounds the lodge. A large swimming pool provides welcome relief during hot afternoons and there is always a waiter on hand to bring you refreshments from the bar.

    Guests wishing to pamper themselves are welcome to book one of the delightful treatments from our in-house beautician or hit the gym for some exercise.

    Chobe Game Lodge offers a choice of land or water-based activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe National Park.

    Early-morning and late-afternoon game drives are conducted by our expert guides in open-sided 4×4 vehicles to ensure maximum visibility of Chobe National Park’s spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Chobe Game Lodge has introduced four electric-powered game drive vehicles for a more immersive, carbon-emission free safari. Meanwhile, riverside game viewing is done from the lodges full fleet of solar-electric powered safari boats offering silent safaris on Botswana’s renowned Chobe River.

    Chobe’s diverse wildlife roams in abundance – it is, for instance, home to the largest concentration of elephant in Africa. During the dry season these large herds, as well as vast herds of buffalo, congregate on the fertile flood plains along the Chobe River to drink, bathe and play. There are frequent sightings of lion, African wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable, giraffe and roan antelope.

  Day 4 - Chobe National Park (B,L,D)

  Wildlife viewing in Chobe continues today as you explore more of this game rich Park. The Chobe River attracts predators and prey alike, no game drive is ever the same, and no game drive should be missed.  When not on a drive or a walk, enjoy the comforts of your lodge and their delightful staff.

  Day 5 - Savute (B,L,D)

  Today, you will be transferred to nearby Kasane International Airport, for the light aircraft flight to world famous Savute Marsh where you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the following three nights. Your first game activity will be this afternoon, after you check into Savute Safari Lodge.

    Savute Safari Lodge (Deluxe)

    When David Livingstone, the first European to visit the area, saw the Savute Channel in 1851 it was flowing. Thirty years later it had disappeared and the Savute Marsh had dried out, remaining this way for almost 80 years. In 2009, after another extended hiatus, the channel began flowing again and by January 2010 had spilled into the Savute Marsh for the first time in three decades, but for how long – no one knows …

    To ensure a private and relaxing environment, Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just twenty four guests in eleven thatched chalets built of local timber and one family room which consists of two double bedrooms. The chalets, which have been elegantly furnished in calm neutral tones to blend with the natural environment, feature expansive private decks, a combined bedroom and lounge area and en suite facilities.

    Sink into one of the numerous comfortable leather, wood or wicker sofas in the lounge – and library – or sip a cocktail in the stylish bar. All these facilities are situated in a beautiful two-storey thatch-and-timber main building. Savute Safari Lodge offers a shaded viewing deck, an al fresco dining area and swimming pool with spectacular pool loungers – ideal for watching the varied wildlife – including the resident Elephants – as they make their way to the Channel to drink, bathe and play.

    Activities are organized around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Many trips will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh to give you a chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a backdrop of teeming wildlife. Guests can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a prominent landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.

    Savute boasts the second-largest summer Zebra migration in Africa; its timing is determined by the rains, but usually occurs between November and December and again between February and April, when the Zebras move from the rivers in the north in search of the rain-ripe grasslands and full waterholes in the southwest of the park. The migration is always followed by large numbers of predators – the Zebra migration is a must for visitors.

  Days 6 - 7 Savute (B,L,D)

  Over these two days, your guides will offer you a choice of game activities to suit the local conditions at the Marsh. The Savute Channel is a unique waterway known for its cyclical flooding and drying patterns. During periods of heavy rainfall, the channel fills with water from the Linyanti River, providing a lifeline for wildlife. Conversely, during drier periods, the channel may dry up completely, leaving behind fertile floodplains that attract grazing animals.

  Day 8 - Moremi Game Reserve (B,L,D)

  Fly by light aircraft to Moremi Game Reserve and your home for the following three nights, Camp Moremi. Camp Moremi has a well-deserved legacy in the Botswana tourism industry for being able to deliver the classic African safari experience. Your first game activity will be this afternoon.

    Camp Moremi, located within the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve, has a well-deserved legacy in the safari world for being able to deliver the classic African experience. 

    Camp Moremi boasts 12 expansive, modern styled thatched safari tents, including one family room, and accommodates a maximum of twenty-four guests. The family room which includes two separate bedrooms and bathrooms connects through interleading doors. All standard tents are expansive with spacious bathrooms consisting of double vanities and showers, and private decks offering views over the Moremi Game Reserve. Subtle décor and lighting fixtures allow for a natural and warm atmosphere within each room to create a peaceful and harmonious blend with the surrounding environment.

    Camp Moremi’s communal areas include a sunken bar, masterfully built around a large termite mound and ebony tree, an expansive lounge area with a beautiful brass and soft finishes, leading towards an extended library and private deck. These areas, including the elevated dining area, connects by boardwalk to the fireplace in front of the camp. In addition, an open-air boma and secluded swimming pool complement the public area facilities.

    Guest activities include a choice of morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many different ecosystems that the Moremi Game Reserve has to offer or the possibility to explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat. This blend of activities allows for access to incredible landscapes, impressive wildlife as well as the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque waters of the Okavango Delta.

    Our team of experienced Professional guides will introduce you to a whole new world of wildlife; watch a Leopard stretched out lazily in the branches of a Mopane tree, herds of Elephant grazing under a canopy of green or a pride of Lions camouflaged in the long grass. Moremi Game Reserve’s incredible wetlands support a vast number of antelope, including Impala, Kudu and Waterbuck. Birdlife is prolific and the majestic Fish Eagle and vivid Malachite Kingfisher are frequently seen and even the rare Pel’s Fishing Owl makes an occasional appearance, to the delight of guides and guests alike.

  Days 9-10 Moremi Game Reserve (B,L,D)

  Over these two days, activities are organized around game drives and water activities throughout the Moremi Game Reserve and Okavango Delta in open 4x4 safari vehicles and water craft. As well as premium game-viewing, you will learn much about the vital Delta ecosystem.  One of the iconic experiences is to navigate the Delta in a mokoro. A mokoro is a traditional dugout canoe. Carved from a single tree trunk, it glides silently through the Delta's tranquil waterways, providing intimate encounters with wildlife and offering a unique and immersive safari experience.

  Day 11 Depart Moremi Game Reserve (B)

  Sadly, all good things come to an end. You will fly by light aircraft to Maun to connect with your ongoing international flights.
