  Day 1 - Arrive Victoria Falls

  On arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for the following two nights, Palm River Hotel.  Rest of day at leisure.

    Guests dine on fusion fare within the Palm River Hotel restaurant dining hall; encompassed by tall ceilings, classic parquet flooring and large sliding doors that open out onto an idyllic riverfront vista. The dining experience flows onto to a large patio and out to an al fresco dining space, sheltered by a canopy of indigenous trees. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to hotel guests, while the cuisine reflects the natural setting, using fresh, local ingredients.

  Day 2 - Victoria Falls (B)

  Day at leisure to tour Victoria Falls National Park. Afterward, perhaps take a short flight over the Falls for a birds eye view or wander through the markets in this historic town, or just relax by the pool and enjoy the view of the Zambezi River.

  Days 3, 4 and 5 - Hwange National Park (B,L,D)

  Transfer by light aircraft flight to Hwange National Park and settle into Somalisa Expeditions camp, your Serengeti-style tented home for the following three nights.  Somalisa Expeditions exudes adventure and brings you face to face with Africa’s beautiful wildlife - especially elephants, for which Hwange is famous. 

  During the day, your senses are awakened on game drives, bush walks, bird watching excursions and cultural visits. Professional guides transform an experience from passive viewing of sightings to a passionate demonstration of beauty and wonder. Their wisdom about the African wilderness will fascinate and amaze you.

  In the evening, enjoy time to yourself or with other guests, recounting the day's adventures and making new friends over delicious meals.

    Somalisa Expeditions Camp (Superior)

    Somalisa Expeditions camp exudes adventure and brings guests face to face with Africa’s giants.   Days 6,7 & 8 (B,L,D)

  After a last game drive through Hwange, fly to Mana Pools by light aircraft. Your accommodation there is at Kanga Expeditions Camp. Mana Pools is an oasis in one of the most untamed and remote corners of Africa. You won’t be disappointed with the abundance of wildlife experiences in and around these camps. Here, you’ll be immersed in the untamed beauty of nature, where you can observe the mesmerizing drama of wildlife on thrilling game drives or adventurous canoe safaris.

    Kanga Expeditions Camp (Superior)

    Kanga Expeditions is a wild untouched paradise within a private concession in Mana Pools National Park. In this remote southwestern stretch, vlei lines, mopane woodland and riverine forests give way to intriguing discoveries beyond the banks of the Zambezi River. As the sole source of water in the dry season, Kanga Pan creates a haven for wildlife, drawing animals from near and far to the heart of Kanga Expeditions. Here, guests are bound to experience untamed magnetic encounters as you embark on an enriching African safari.

    Promising luxury in the wild, Kanga Expeditions comprises six Meru-style tents with floor-to-ceiling mesh windows inviting fresh air and natural light to filter in. Powered by solar, each tent has an ensuite with hot running water, an outdoor shower and a secluded veranda elevated above ground to take in the views of the pan outside. Designed for reconnecting in nature, the Family Tent features a wraparound terrace with private seating and dining areas overlooking the pan. The luxurious honeymoon tent features a rolltop bath on an adjoining secluded deck, setting the scene for a romantic starlit bath in nature.

    Under the shade of a mahogany tree, the inviting upper deck entices you to slip away for a moment of calm or to birdwatch over the pan. For gathering between activities, Kanga Expeditions boasts a full bar and plunge pool for reprieve in the warmth of the day.

    Activities at Kanga Expeditions include guided walking safaris through the concession and thrilling day and night game drives led by qualified and passionate local guides. Keeping with African Bush Camps’ family-friendly nature, children over seven are welcome at Kanga Expeditions.
