Audra Hazners

Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I always dreamt of living and working overseas. After a 4-month backpacking trip Down Under, my love affair with Australia began. A true Aussie ambassador for 20 years, I have spent twelve years living, working, and traveling throughout the South Pacific and Africa. I learned to swim on the Great Barrier Reef, worked on an island in the Whitsundays, experienced some of the most delicious wine and food destinations in the southern hemisphere, discovered off-the-beaten-path treasures that only the locals would know about, honeymooned, and took wedding photos on a mountain in Queenstown, and finally became an Aussie citizen in 2016. I currently reside in St. Pete, FL with my husband and our two chocolate labs, Rizzo and Ozzie (named after Australia!).
