Travel Answers, a leading wholesaler selling travel to the South Pacific, is seeking a Destination Specialist who has a passion for selling travel and who can apply their expertise to choreograph the perfect itinerary.
Key Responsibilities:
Convert client enquiries into bookings by effectively qualifying the call, offering different tour packages and quote pricing.
Ensure all reservations are processed with careful attention to detail, maintaining administrative tasks including documentation, managing schedule changes, and processing airline reservations in GDS.
Communicate/sell our preferred products and provide dedication to service through email, telephone, and online chat.
Develop long-lasting connections with your trade partners, creating referrals by offering unforgettable travel experiences to gain repeat business.
Answering calls and emails daily.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a travel agent/reservations consultant for a travel agency or wholesaler.
Proven experience working in a sales environment with success in closing sales, meeting monthly set goals.
Must specialize in customizing FIT vacations to multiple countries of the South Pacific including (but not limited to): Australia - New Zealand - Tahiti - Fiji and the Cook Islands.
Strong knowledge of GDS/Airline reservations systems (preferable Amadeus).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Has been to one or more of the destinations we sell.

Location:
This is a remote, work-from-home position. Ideally, the candidate will be based in Los Angeles or Seattle, where our headquarters are located. Existing team members are encouraged to apply.
