Phillip Island Nature Park is a favorite destination for lovers of nature.

Every day at dusk, Phillip Island hosts Australia’s most popular wildlife event - a parade of Little Penguins who emerge from the sea and make their way to their burrows in the sand dunes.  The islands is also home to a large number of koalas and a colony of fur seals that has taken up residence at Seal Rocks.

Take in the rugged coastal scenery as you follow the boardwalk around The Nobbies, or explore the historic buildings, heritage gardens, and ancient Moonah trees adjacent to Churchill Island.

Situated 100 miles south-east of Melbourne, Phillip Island is an easy two-hour drive from the city.  The largest town on the island, Cowes, provides a range of accommodation and restaurants for all budgets and tastes.
