Discover Clare Valley
Settled in the 1840s and named after County Clare in Ireland, the Clare Valley has it all. There are heritage towns and trails, boutique wineries, museums and galleries. Located approximately two hours’ drive north of Adelaide, the Clare Valley is generally considered a warm climate, however there are significant micro-climates across the region’s hills and valleys.
The region produces some of Australia’s most elegant Riesling and premium quality Shiraz and Semillon. The Clare rural community produces everything from chicken to lamb to farmed rabbits, and it is noted for its organic and farmgate produce.
